Apply
Applying for the original benefit is the most important part of your application. It is at this point that you give the Adjudicator (the Decision Maker) a complete overview of,
(i) your disability
and or also
(ii) your care needs.
Filling in the form incorrectly at this stage will inevitably mean that your application may be refused.
The application forms are very important forms that need to be filled in meticulously. Many claims are refused because applications are not completed correctly, lack of the correct understanding of the form may quite often lead to rejection. Here at My Benefit Claim we are experts in completing the forms for you. We know where to put detailed explanations, correct answers and ticks in the correct boxes.
CLAIM PROGRESS
Once we have completed your application it will then be checked and verified for eligibility by two people to ensure accuracy. You will then be asked to sign your claim form, complete your bank details and then send it on to the DWP at Blackpool for processing.
Once that the DWP at Blackpool receive your claim, an acknowledgement will then be sent to you within 10 days. The DWP will then start to process your claim. Part of processing your claim will be that the DWP will write to your GP or hospital consultant and ask for a medical opinion about you. The medical report is a very important part of your claim. if the medical report does not confirm your medical condition or anticipated care needs your claim will be refused.
THE TRIBUNAL HEARING
Should your claim be refused there are two options available to you
(i) a review
or
(ii) to appeal the DWP's decision.
Should you decide to appeal the DWP's decision, we will fully represent you at any forthcoming tribunal hearing. We will NOT like some organizations give you verbal instructions on how to appeal the decision and not turn up at the hearing.
